Students
We do not write papers for you. However, we provide the following services to help you achieve success in your writing assignments:
- proofreading. This means finding and correcting grammar and spelling errors. It's the most basic editorial service we offer.
- copy editing (also known as "line editing"). In a copy editing assignment, we review your writing for word use, cohesiveness of argument, consistency in point of view, and flow. We show you where we have found points of concern, and we recommend ways you might make your writing stronger. We also show you how to format your paper for best presentation.
- editing for academic style. This editorial service ensures that essays, term papers, theses and dissertations conform to the appropriate style for the subject/discipline. This includes a complete review of the text of the writing along with the footnotes/endnotes and bibliographies. We are experts in APA, Chicago, and MLA styles.
